We’re HAIRMETTO — a family-run company passionate about natural, topical scalp treatments. Our journey began in 2014 after a personal experience with hair loss and the frustrating search for effective, chemical-free solutions. When we couldn’t find a product that aligned with our values, we created one.
Our mission has always been simple: support people experiencing hair loss without compromising their health. Since then, we’ve helped individuals around the world restore their confidence with treatments made from powerful, plant-based ingredients — no harsh drugs, no unwanted side effects.
Co-founder Andrea personally oversees HAIRMETTO’s operations. Her travels across cultures and climates have deepened her belief in nature’s ability to heal, protect, and restore. That belief is the foundation of every formula we create.
Each product is handcrafted in small batches in Canada at our Health Canada–licensed GMP-certified facility, using only high-quality, ethically sourced botanicals. From CO₂-extracted saw palmetto to cold-pressed oils, we prioritize potency, purity, and transparency in everything we make.

A Message from Andrea, Co-Founder of HAIRMETTO
Our family loves to travel. Back in 2013, my husband and I visited my sister and brother-in-law in Central America — and we were stunned by something unexpected: his hair.
Just a few years earlier, he had been steadily losing it since his early 20s. The usual chemical and drug-based treatments gave him some regrowth, but the side effects were frustrating and not worth it. That visit was the first time we saw real, healthy progress — and it hadn’t come from a prescription.
Instead, he had turned to nature. Living in Belize, he began researching medicinal botanicals and their link to hair loss — particularly how DHT (a hormone also linked to prostate health) can shrink hair follicles and cause thinning. He found that saw palmetto, a natural DHT blocker, was not only effective but growing all around him.
He wasn’t a scientist — just someone determined to solve a problem that affected his confidence. His research led him to other powerful ingredients too, like pumpkin seed oil, castor seed oil, and specific essential oils supported by a University of Edinburgh study. He educated himself, tested formulas on his own scalp, and committed nearly a year to refining the treatment.
And it worked. We saw the results with our own eyes. No drugs, no harsh side effects — just a simple, natural formula that restored scalp health and prevented further thinning.
It was too good not to share.
That’s how HAIRMETTO was born — from the first hand-poured batches in our home to now producing in a Health Canada–licensed facility. We've grown from a small family effort to serving customers worldwide through our own website and Amazon marketplaces in four countries.
But our passion hasn’t changed. We still source the purest saw palmetto available, and all our ingredients come from trusted North American suppliers. We’re deeply involved in every step — from formulating to quality control — because we’re not just the founders. We’re customers too.
