It's a great product, but it's too thick (not runny enough), which makes it hard to apply;
unfortunately, you can't apply it just to the scalp as you should, but it also ends up on the hair roots.

This treatment is intentionally designed to reach the roots and scalp area, because that’s where the ingredients are meant to be applied. With oil-based scalp treatments, it’s very difficult to completely avoid the roots, since the roots are attached directly to the scalp itself.
The thicker texture is also intentional, as it helps the oil stay where it’s applied rather than running down the face or neck. Many customers part the hair in sections and apply a small amount directly onto the scalp before massaging it in gently.

I have noticed hair growing where it had been incredibly thin. I have two firms of alopecia and didn’t think it would help, but I have pkeasantly surprised abd havfe ordered another bottke and the styling gel, which give my hair thicknesz it had lost.

I have been using the Saw Palmetto day serum for over a year now. My hair and scalp feel healthier and has reduced hair shedding. That is a big plus. I also use this as a great hair stying product. I would highly recommend this product and don’t give up to quickly.

Really greasy
Thank you for your feedback. You’re absolutely right - our Overnight Oil is intentionally rich and oil-based. It contains six plant oils and is designed to be used at night, before washing, rather than as a daytime product.
Because the formula is very concentrated, only a small amount is needed. Ingredients like pumpkin seed oil are included to support the scalp environment, which is why the texture feels heavier by design.
For a lighter option during the day, our Daytime Serum is formulated to absorb more quickly and can be used without leaving an oily feel. Thank you for trying both products and for sharing your experience - it helps others choose the option that best fits their routine.

I've been using the Hairmetto system for just over a month and have already noticed I lose less hair when I wash it. It also feels about 30% thicker.
It's too early to see new hair growth but I'm confident that will start to show in the next couple of months.
The products are very easy to use and work into my normal routine of washing my hair 2x/week.

I very recently discovered Hairmetto after consulting ChatGPT and asking, “What is the best oil for androgenic alopecia?” To my surprise, Hairmetto was the top recommendation.
I was honestly confused at first. Despite being deeply involved in the thinning hair / AGA community and trying many of the popular oils, I had never heard of Hairmetto before. I haven’t used them long enough yet to notice a difference in hair density but they smell good, the serum doesn’t make my scalp oily and the oil isn’t too thick or smelly. I really like the products so far and will do an update with photos when I see progress.

I use this as a styling gel as part of my hair loss prevention routine, works well. Apply it, style hair, wait for it to dry, then run my hand through my hair and it pretty much bounces back and stays in place.

I started using this along with other things in an attempt to grow my hair, rosemary oils, scalp treatments, frequent micro-trims and my hair has indeed grown. because it's grown i won't say it was jus this that did it, but it might have helped. the serum has a pleasant scent to it and it didn't make my hair feel excessively oily how some have done to my hair in the past.
I use this as an alternative to finas*eride. I still have to use mino*idil, because once you stop mino*idil, you lose all your gains brought by mino*idil, regardless of whether you're on finas*eride or another 5 alpha reductase blocker...so be careful guys. For those who don't use mino*idil, Hairmetto alone might be enough for maintenance. It's very oily and you can't be seen in public with it on. After several months of use I'd say it's improved the appearance of my hair beyond what I achieved on mino*idil alone (which I've been using for literally years). I will keep using Hairmetto for as long as it's effective. It's completely free of side effects. I use overnight (a minimal amount - don't drench your head in this), rub in well, wipe off any excess with a paper towel and wash out in the morning. I've tried oral and topical finas*eride in the past and both gave me unacceptable side effects, so a topical botanical product with 5 alpha reductase inhibitory properties is probably the next best thing. Manage expectations. This is not going to regrow a ton of hair, at least it didn't for me. It's stabilised my hair loss and improved its appearance by gradually making it a little thicker. You really need to stick with it for months if you're going to try it. Also look into other products/treatments like topical caffeine, alfa*radiol and derma rolling (I use these in addition to the mino*idil and Hairmetto and have done for a couple of years).
This just didn’t do it for me. It made my hair feel gross and I don’t notice any differences after weeks of use.
I love this hair serum, it makes my scalp feel so nourished and healthy. I've only gotten this a couple months ago and I've already used it up. It's an obsession at this point.

This would be great, the applicator is easy to apply to the root and the ingredients seem natural but the fact that it's also a gel makes it awkward to use. It says easy-hold but if you just want a treatment, the styling product addition of the mixture makes it a bit confusing as you wouldn't use it only as a treatment or as a styling product.
