What It Is
Saw Palmetto is a tropical palm-like small plant primarily found in North America and contains essential fatty acids required for the proper function of hair, skin and nails.
What It Does
The hormone byproduct of testosterone conversion is DHT (dihydrotestosterone). The enzyme 5-AR (5-alpha-reductase) is responsible for this conversion. DHT causes most hair loss in both men and women. A high essential fatty acid extract of saw palmetto berries has been shown to block 5-alpha-reductase, preventing the conversion of testosterone to DHT. This allows for free flowing testosterone within the body which is needed by all genders. The higher the extract percentage, the higher the medicinal value.

Saw palmetto has been shown in over 25 clinical trials to inhibit DHT in the body, improve urinary tract health, and support hair health. What It Is
Pumpkin seed oil is extracted from the humble pumpkin’s seeds but contains powerful extracts with many health benefits called phytosterols.
What It Does
Like saw palmetto, phytosterols in cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil have been shown to block the action of 5-alpha reductase, an enzyme responsible for hair loss.
Pumpkin Seed contains the compounds delta-7-sterine and beta-sitosterol that compete with and lower the level of DHT in the follicles. Saw palmetto and pumpkin seed extracts have been used in combination for years as effective treatment in Europe and more recently North America.
